While I have been lucky to have a family that has not had to battle blood cancer, I have personally witnessed the battle that my mom has fought against multiple sclerosis and its impact on her quality of life. I have come to appreciate the importance of patient advocacy and how it can dramatically impact the quality of life for those suffering from major medical issues. To support the continued funding of patient advocacy services provided by LLS, I will meet with business organizations about sponsorships, participate in letter writing, and hold events to raise money. 100% of the money raised through these efforts will go towards funding future research, patient support, and advocacy initiatives.
